CDC ranks states for elderly health-related quality of life
Health-related quality of life scores for adults ages 65 and older were highest in Delaware, New Hampshire, Nevada, Arizona and Vermont, the CDC reported. The survey of almost 80,000 people, conducted from 1997 to 2010, showed Alaska, Alabama, West Virginia, Mississippi and Arkansas had the lowest scores.
